Continuation of the working visit to Kulob city of Khatlon Province

On the third day of his working visit to the cities and districts of Kulob area of Khatlon Province, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon attended the cornerstone laying ceremony of the administrative and academic building, the scientific and educational laboratories and state-of-the-art hostel at Institute of Technology and Innovation Management to be built in Oriyono quarter of Kulob city.

The Administrative Training Institute and residential town is to be built in the amount of 13 million somoni by the direct support of the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon and will have an 11-storied administrative and academic building, the scientific and educational laboratories and state-of-the-art hostel at Institute of Technology and Innovation Management.

According to the plan in new buildings for 3,000 students modern training conditions will be created, as well as a dormitory for 600 students. There will also be built a 9-storied residential building for teachers, a large assembly hall, gym, playground and garden.

Likewise, President Emomali Rahmon has also laid a cornerstone and a capsule with a message for future generations for the construction of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan in Kulob city.

It was noted that the total cost of the project is 5 million 600 thousand somoni, and construction work will be finished in 2017. A nine-storied building will have 52 offices, a dining room designed for 60 seats, a sports hall, assembly hall for 125 seats, and other auxiliary facilities.

Similarly, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon has laid a cornerstone for the construction of a modern multi-storied hotel to be built at Somoni avenue of Kulob city.

A 12-storied complex will have a basement for the Culture Centre of children and adolescents, aesthetic center, salon sales of handicrafts and other shopping centers and restaurants on the first floor.

As part of his working visit to Kulob city, President Emomali Rahmon took part in the opening ceremony of the State Emblem and State Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan at the Ismoili Somoni Avenue.

It is noteworthy that the flagpole has been built in the framework of the Plan of Action on the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan with the financing support of the OJSC "Orienbank".

The National Flag is raised on a 52,5-meter-high flagpole measuring 14 meters by 7 meters.

After raising the National Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan in the administrative center of Kulob city, the President of the country Emomali Rahmon expressed hissatisfaction with the quality of construction work and instructed the responsible persons for permanent proper care of the complex.

President Emomali Rahmon noted that the opening of the two sacred national symbols is a sign of reverence for the higher state values, and this step will play an important role in further enhancing the sense of patriotism, national pride among the younger generation in general and all residents of Kulob.
