Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, which reads as follows:

It gives me great pleasure to convey to you my heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of memorable date in the modern history of Tajik–Turkish interstate relations - the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations.

During this period, thanks to joint efforts by both countries, the relations have made smooth progress and reached a high level in the political, economic, culture and other areas of mutual interest.

In this process, recognized and inviolable principles of strong friendship, equality, mutual trust and respect have been the characteristic features of constructive relations of Tajikistan and Turkey.

Tajikistan is a supporter of the expansion of long-term friendly relations with Turkey, and this position corresponds to the most important principle of our foreign policy.
