The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon extended congratulations to Newly Elected President of the Republic of India Ram Nath Kovind. The President’s message reads:

Your Excellency,

In connection with Your election to highest post of the President of the Republic of India I express my heartfelt congratulations.

Our countries relaying on tremendous cultural and historical commonness and based upon recognized international relation principals – mutual understanding, equality, benevolence and mutual trust – so far established and developing good relations and mutually beneficiary cooperation in different interested fields.

I am confident that we, through our joint efforts will further enhance multifaceted partnership between our countries and level up it for the benefit of our peoples.

Tajikistan side is ready to put all necessary efforts in this direction.

I wish Your Excellency strong health and new achievements in fulfilment Your mission, and to the friendly people of India peace, stability and further prosperity.
