The project also provided for construction of four underpasses with a total length of 236 meters.

The project has been implemented in cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
