The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, head of the Government of the country Emomali Rahmon chaired a regular meeting of the Government of Tajikistan. The meeting took place on December 28, 2018 at the Government house.

Besides, the meeting participants discussed the overall results of 2018 and reviewed 2019 first half-year’s Government Work Plan. Finance Minister Fayziddin Qahhorzoda gave the main report on measures to implementation of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the state budget of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2019”, as well as “On elaboration of parameters of the budget for 2020-2022 and the draft law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the state budget for 2021”.

Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nematullo Hikmatullozoda delivered report to the meeting attendees on the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On making amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan" On the Status of the Capital ", "On the Draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On making changes and addenda to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan", “On other compulsory payments to the budget "and "On the Draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On making amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan“ "On permit system".

Members of the government also discussed draft laws of the Republic of Tajikistan proposed "On making changes and addenda to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan" “On public service”, the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On making changes and addenda to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On fight against corruption”, the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On making changes and addenda to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the anticorruption expertise of normative legal acts and drafts of normative legal acts’’ and sent them for consideration to the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Other subjects of discussion included the issues of the National Disaster Risk Reduction Strategy through 2019–2030, the procedure for providing guarantees to medical and other workers directly involved in providing anti-tuberculosis care, and On establishment of state institution “Business Incubator of Tajikistan”.

Summing up the discussion, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon instructed members of the Government to fulfilling the task that made at the State-of-the-Nation Address of the President to the Parliament as well as step-by-step preparation for a worthy celebration of the nationwide holiday - the 30th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic Tajikistan.
