On the sideline of the "Ancient Culture Studies: the Past and the Present" International Symposium, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with the representatives of foreign scientific community and creative intelligentsia. The meeting took place in the National Library of Tajikistan in Dushanbe.

The agenda of the meeting featured issues related to the symposium, Tajikistan’s good cultural relationships with foreign countries, and the role of the Association of Tajiks and Persian-speaking peoples of the world "Paivand". President Emomali Rahmon praised the activities of the association, the effective contribution of Tajik and Persian-speaking societies abroad to the formation of a single culture.

He called on the scientists and cultural figures of foreign countries to establish fruitful cooperation with the scientific and creative intelligentsia of Tajikistan and take an active part in the celebration of nationwide and international holidays in Tajikistan.

During the meeting the guests and participants of the symposium expressed their gratitude to President Emomali Rahmon for hosting this important scientific symposium and for the warm and sincere welcome accorded to them.

During this event the Manouchehr Farhangi Foundation Order was awarded to President of Tajikistan, the Chairman of the Association of Tajiks and Persian-speaking peoples of the world – “Paivand” Emomali Rahmon for promoting significant contribution to unity and mutual understanding among peoples, honoring ancestors and their great cultural heritage.
