Working trip to Khuroson district

The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited the Khuroson district, Khatlon Province to open the new Department of Social Insurance and Pensions Agency.

During this trip he also visited the site where the administrative building of the Committee on Environment Protection and Land Management Committee of Khuroson districtis will be built and laid cornerstone for the construction of it and met with the builders.

He also visited the new 150 ha vineyard. One hectare of land is allotted for the construction of a greenhouse. The new vineyard will contribute to the realization of the goals set in development program of horticulture and viticulture through 2020.

In 2019, Khatlon farmers produced more than 13.4 billion somoni worth of products, and supplied the domestic market with high-quality products which were also exported abroad.

At the end of the exhibition featuring agricultural products, President Rahmon attended the National cuisine, and Traditional Crafts Exhibition, which was organized within the framework of the declared Period of Development of Rural Areas, Tourism and Folk Crafts.
