While on working trip to Khatlon Province, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited Danghara, where he officially opened the second line at Farm Teks (Pharm Textiles), which is engaged in producing medical materials, cosmetic products, and personal hygiene items.
Farm Teks produces personal hygiene items, such as cotton pads, cotton swabs, napkins and other products.
The company can process 2,000 kilograms of cotton per day for the production of bleached cotton for surgical pads, gauze, and various types of sterilized bandages and adhesive plasters.
The company plans to expand its production by 2025 and create new jobs.

Following inspection of the new building of the local court, President Rahmon attended a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new office of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan (PDPT).
Exhibition of Agricultural Products organized by the local market Kayonush, which showcased local products and achievements in the agriculture sector was also visited by President Rahmon.
Since the beginning of this year, Khatlon Province farmers have produced 24,284 eggs, which is an increase compared to the same period last year.
More than 10 tonnes of meat and 1,504,500 eggs have been produced in Danghara by the Rahmonjon trade cooperative poultry farms in past four months of this year.
In 2019, 4,000 tonnes of agricultural products had been produced in the Danghara district, of which 500 tonnes had been exported abroad.
The total agricultural products in the region as of May 1 of this year amounted to 72.7 million somoni, which is 2.9 million somoni higher than in the same period last year.
Milk production also increased, reaching 92,276 tonnes.
In the first four months of this year meat production rose to 19,881 tonnes.
Grain production in an area of 125,500 hectares, has yielded 5500 kgs per hectare. Currently, re-sowing continues at all farms at an accelerated pace.
After touring the Exhibition of Agricultural Products, President Rahmon examined the 230 ha wheat-sown area in the Muhsinjon Cooperative-Based Seed Production and visited the Dusti village of Lolazor community, where he got familiar with the process of creating gardens, vineyards and greenhouses at the Khuroson farm and attended the opening of the industrial enterprise Bio Tech.
