The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a message of congratulation to the President – elect of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu.

The message reads, in particular:

 “Your Excellency,

I sincerely congratulate you on your victory in the presidential elections in the Republic of Moldova.

The results of the past presidential elections are evidence of popular support for the course you have chosen for further sustainable development of the country and strengthening its authority in the international arena. Tajikistan and Moldova are bound by long-standing traditions of friendship, mutual understanding and constructive interaction.

I am confident that the good relations between our countries will continue to expand and cover new areas of cooperation. I am ready to make all necessary efforts with you in this direction.
