The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon exchanged congratulatory messages with President of the United Arab Emirates Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations which falls on 18 December.

The message from President Rahmon is as follows:

“Your Highness,

It gives me great pleasure to extend my congratulations to you on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates.

The Tajik side expresses satisfaction with the fact that over the years, relations of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries have gradually developed covering various areas of mutual interests.

I am convinced that by joint consistent efforts we will continue to expand the good ties between our countries, enriching them with new content in accordance with the fundamental interests of our peoples.

I am taking advantage of this opportunity to wish you good health and happiness, while to the friendly fraternal people of the United Arab Emirates - peace, well-being and prosperity.

The message from Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan reads:

“With a best greetings,

It is my great pleasure and honor to offer Your Excellency my sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Tajikistan. I wish Your Excellency health and happiness, and to the government and the friendly people of the Republic of Tajikistan - further progress and prosperity.

Please accept the assurance of my sincere esteem."

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces also sent similar congratulatory messages to President Rahmon.
