Within the framework of his working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with the President of the Chamber of Representatives of the Belgian Federal Parliament Eliane Tillieux.

The inter-parliamentary ties and exchange of experiences between the legislative bodies of Tajikistan and Belgium were reviewed in depth.

President Rahmon expressed his satisfaction with the good level of political and inter-parliamentary ties, and noted the necessity of further expanding the activities of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group.

The discussion also focused on strengthening cooperation in the field of economy, trade, investment, culture, and tourism.
