On December 8, a meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan was held in Dushanbe, in which the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon took part and spoke.

The members of the Board and the Central Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, the faction of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan in the Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli, heads of a number of relevant structures and offices, responsible employees of the Office of the Central Executive Committee of the party, heads of the executive committees of the party in regions, cities and districts, representatives of party mass media and active members of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan attended the meeting.

In accordance with the agenda, tasks of the organizations of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan to implement the initiatives of the Leader of the Nation to expand the feeling of patriotism and national pride of the citizens were discussed in the meeting.

During the speech, the Chairman of the party emphasized that solving the tasks of ensuring the complete independence of the state, strengthening and expanding it today depends in many ways on the feeling of national patriotism and the unity of all the forces of the society.

Therefore, we decided to analyze and consider these issues at an important party meeting, because the analysis and conclusion of the work done and finding specific areas of further activity will allow the work of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, especially in the current conditions of the country, the region and the world, to be established in a stable manner, the President stated.

It was emphasized that during the last few years, the nature of political conflicts has completely changed, and the motivation of a series of social, economic, man-made and natural threats has increased all over the world.

The global problem of increasing stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction, international terrorism, man-made conflicts and violence, increasing poverty and unemployment in developing countries, environmental degradation and scarcity of drinking water, the movement of large numbers of refugees, the production and trafficking of narcotics have become global threats.

The Leader of the Nation stated that, therefore, it is necessary for us to give a proper and realistic political evaluation to all these events and to protect our national and state interests in this case.

The Chairman of the party emphasized that the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan plays an effective role in the political and social life of the residents of Tajikistan and makes a worthy contribution to the formation of political culture and self-awareness of the people.

Today we can say with satisfaction that the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan has become a powerful political force. In its ranks, more than 540 thousand members are united in 7 thousand party organizations.

The honorable people of the country have strong confidence in the constructive ideas of the party, because it is at the forefront of construction and initiatives aimed at national unity, peace and tranquility, political stability, construction and prosperity, sustainable economic development and ensuring a decent life for the people.

According to the Chairman of the party, the main tasks of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan in the new stage of the development of the society and the state are specified in its pre-election programs and the decisions of the congresses, which include the most important directions of the country's development until 2027.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Chairman of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon once again emphasized that the Central Executive Committee and all party structures should step up works on raising national self-awareness and the sense of patriotism of the people, increasing the political and legal knowledge of the country's population, especially teenagers and young people. They must turn conducting events dedicated to national holidays, historical dates, and honoring prominent figures of our people into a permanent activity of party organizations, and enliven respect for the state language, maintain its cleanliness and promot its development, spur knowledge of other languages, especially Russian and English.

In the continuation of the meeting, the Chairman of the party, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, specified the activities of the party structures for the past period and the tasks for the future.

The executive committees of the party were instructed to expand their activities with the wide use of informational and preventive methods in the face of global dangers and threats, to prevent young people from joining terrorist and extremist organizations and movements, and to keep them safe from the influence of undesirable factors, to continuously strengthen and expand issues related to youth within the scope of the activity of the public organization "Sozandagoni vatan".

Moreover, all party organizations were obliged to expand propaganda and agitation activities in the direction of the implementation of the program goals of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, and to take necessary measures to implement the national laws "On the responsibility of parents in the education and upbringing of children", "On streamlining regulations, traditions, celebrations and ceremonies" and  "On the education of citizens' patriotism".

After the speech of the Chairman of the party, member of the Central Executive Committee, Rajabzoda Husniabonu - head of Murgob district, member of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mirzozoda Ibrohim - head of the Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Dushanbe, Qurbonov Nomvar - deputy director of the Institute of issues of water, energy and ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Tohiri Shukrona - 3rd year student of the National University of Tajikistan, winner of the national competition "Furughi subhi donoi kitob ast", Farrukh Hasanov - winner of the television competition among singers in the Russian Federation, Abdulahadzoda Saidullo - first deputy chairman of the primary party executive committee of "Rogun hydroelectric power plant" OJSC, Kholmahmadzoda Soleha - deputy of the Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Idizoda Zarina - head of the executive committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Rasht district, spoke at the meeting.

The decision of the meeting was adopted on the discussed issues.

At the conclusion of the meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, the Chairman of the party, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, noted that the party in today's conditions of free and independent Tajikistan, which with its patriotic people is moving towards progress and prosperity with steady steps and good intentions, all party leaders and officials need to mobilize all their capacity and talent of its members to expand and strengthen national unity, political stability and security, the rule of law, the relentless fight against corruption and illegal drug trafficking, ensuring the sustainable development of the country with extensive use of modern scientific and technological achievements.
