A number of new socio-economic, infrastructure, as well as sports and cultural facilities have been put in commission today in the afternoon with the participation of the President of the country Emomali Rahmon as festive gifts on the eve of celebration of the 21^st anniversary of State Independence of Tajikistan.

It should be noted that hundreds of new modern facilities, including the residential and consumer services buildings, industrial enterprises, institutions of various spheres are being constructed and reconstructed today in all corners of the country, including in Dushanbe, in the framework of the policy of creativity and construction of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

As it has been informed, residential buildings in the area of 32 thousand square meters, administrative buildings (12 thousand sq. m.) and sports grounds (10 thousand sq. m.) will be commissioned only in Dushanbe at the total expense of 184 million Somoni on the eve of the 21^st anniversary of the State Independence of Tajikistan.  

On these days 9 modern sports grounds with the common area of 11 thousand sq. m. will be put in commission at the expense of 4,5 million Somoni in the territory of settlements and areas of the capital of the country for recreation and attraction of the younger generation to sports. Two of such sports grounds have been demonstrated to the Head of State Emomali Rahmon.

The President of the country at first visited a new sports complex constructed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and got familiarized with its conditions.

As it was informed, here a big football playing field with running tracks around it and seats for spectators, field for playing volleyball and basketball, as well as a big tennis court with quite good and modern conditions have been built.

Another sports ground was put in commission at the Mayakovskiy street of Sino district, which consists of a big universal field for football, handball, running tracks and other kinds of athletics.

It was noted that currently 565 small and great sports facilities in Dushanbe city serve to the lovers of sports and physical training.

The President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, speaking in front of the people gathered in the new sports ground, particularly addressing to youth and adolescents urged them to go in for sports, physical exercise and lead healthy life-style.

Afterwards, the Tajik leader Emomali Rahmon went to numerous streets and avenues of four districts of the capital and got familiarized with the course of construction and equipment of automobile roads, pedestrian subways, including in the streets Dustii khalqho (Friendship of peoples) and Aini, avenues Sa’di Sherozi and Ne’mat Qaroboev.
