Today, a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has been held chaired by the President of Tajikistan, Head of Government of the country Emomali Rahmon.

The report of the Chairman of Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government has been heard on the course of implementation of the Programme for restoration of a weather station and water measuring stations at the beginning of the session.

A number of state programmes and other normative and legal acts have been approved, including the Programme for development of theatrical art in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2013-2019, Prospects of prevention and control of noninfectious diseases in Tajikistan for 2013-2023, the Programme of education in human rights domain for 2013-2020, Programme of Socio-Economic Development of Jilikul District of Khatlon Region, Programme of Labor Protection in Tajikistan for 2013-2016, Programme of Monitoring of Environment of Tajikistan for 2013-2017, Programme for Training of Highly Qualified Personnel of Mass Media for 2013-2017 and Programme of Development of Human Intellectual Capabilities and Property for the period up to 2020.     

The meeting also dealt with other issues of district, regional and state significance.
