Meeting with Chairman of State Development Bank of China Hu Huaibang

The President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in Beijing held another useful meeting with chairman of State Development Bank of China Hu Huaibang.

It was expressed satisfaction over the remarkable development of cooperation conducted in the margins of bilateral relations and SCO Interbank Association. Satisfaction was also expressed over the cooperation of this bank with National Bank and State Saving Bank “Amonatbank” of Tajikistan.

As it was mentioned, long-term preferential credit has been allotted for enrichment of credit portfolio of Tajikistan’s “Amonatbank” by the State Development Bank of China in the volume of 20 million USD and 33 million Chinese Yuan.  

An agreement was reached on further enhancement of cooperation for investment of many beneficial projects in different economic spheres of Tajikistan.

Following the meeting trilateral credit agreement has been signed between joint enterprise “Zarafshon”, Development Bank of China and mining company Zijin. According to this document, 140 million USD of long-term preferential credit will be allotted to mining company Zijin for expansion of activities of joint enterprise “Zarafshon”.
