This morning, on the occasion of the 22^nd anniversary of Independence of Tajikistan, more than 400 persons have been decorated with state awards, honorary titles, supreme military and special ranks and state prizes by President of the country Emomali Rahmon.

At the beginning of ceremony a famous Tajik poet Bozor Sobir was granted with order Star of the President 3^rd degree.

Then, many other personalities, who made worthy contributions to the development of different areas of economy, society, science, technology, culture and state service of Tajikistan, have been awarded with order Sharaf 2^nd degree, Medal of Merit, medal Shafqat, Honorary Certificate of Tajikistan, different honorary titles, including popular artist of Tajikistan, merited artist of Tajikistan and merited worker of Tajikistan.
