President of Tajikistan has arrived in Jirgatol district for a working visit, where he took part in the exhibition of agricultural products of agrarians of farming economies of village community of Jirgatol district, inaugurated a modern clinic and sports and recreation center as well as a cultural and recreation park with different attractions and amusement facilities, got familiarized with the course of harvesting of potato in Jirgatol and with the process of education in state educational institution lyceum of Jirgatol district.

It was in particular mentioned that the Jirgatol district is conducive to the development of potato cultivation and it can supply domestic markets with this sort of good. The village community of Jirgatol with its farming economies of all types has a total area of 210 hectares for potato cultivation and its yielding accounts for 300 centners.

In his address in front of Jirgatol people, President Emomali Rahmon informed that over the years of independence 400 important facilities, including 39 bridges, 21 new schools and 20 clinical institutions have been constructed and 52 transformers and electrical substations have been assembled, as well as 79 comprehensive schools have been renovated and pure drinking water pipelines have been laid in 35 villages of Jirgatol district.
