Working visit of head of state Emomali Rahmon to Kulob city began with Guliston village of village community Zarbdor.

Here President Emomali Rahmon laid a foundation stone for construction of a modern school which will be finished in 2 years at the expense of more than 8 million somoni by local businessman Komiljon Karimov. As the project of school’s building shows, it will be three-storied and will be envisaged for 1300 pupils in 2 shifts.

During an acquaintance with exemplary activities of members of farming economy Sabz of Kulob city, it was in particular informed that it has 300ha of land at its disposal and in 185ha cotton, 50ha crops and 2,5ha vegetables have been sowed. A good garden of exporting fruits has been erected in the area of 36ha, among which cotton has also been sowed.

Afterwards, in the center of Kulob a grand presidential school for 640 gifted pupils from cities and districts of Kulob area of Khatlon region has been commissioned.

President of the country then came to a caravansary-passing area of Kulob city and put into operation a two-storied sowing workshop with 50 female workers and a modern flour producing enterprise constructed at the expense of more than 6 million somoni. It has been informed that it produces every day 90 tons of quality market-exporting flour.

Moreover, in the center of Kulob city, a hospital and clinic center of autonomous division of Department of Interior Minister in Khatlon region has been opened with the participation of President of Tajikistan.

In Ismoili Somoni avenue of Kulob city President Emomali Rahmon launched construction of a 16-storied 5-star hotel by laying a foundation stone and letter for future generations. According to its project, this hotel will have 200 apartments to be constructed at the expense of 8,2 million USD by local businessman Mahmadsodiq Kululov in 2 next years, namely before the celebration of 700^th anniversary of Mir Said Ali Hamadoni.

A productive enterprise Eldorado has officially been launched on the left bank of Yokhsu river passing beside Kulob city. As it was briefed, this enterprise constructed at the amount of 3,4 million somoni by local entrepreneur Khalil Temurov manufactures in one working shift 40 tons of washed sand, 480 tons of pebbles, 960 tons of asphalt and 240 tons of concrete.

Next day in the morning President Emomali Rahmon visited Sarichashma village of village community Khudoyor Rajabov of Vose district and opened there a modern one-storied school for 840 pupils in two shifts.

Then president’s trip in Kulob city continued by opening three productive enterprises dealing with manufacturing of stones and pebbles, asphalt, concrete and other construction materials, processing of cotton, packaging of healing herbs and dried fruits.

            In Kulob President Emomali Rahmon also presented 328 full orphans from 7 cities and districts of Kulob area and 10 newly-wed coupes, as well as 150 children to be circumcised from needy families of Kulob city with one-time material assistance and memorable gifts.

            In the center of Kulob city also a three-storied building of local authority of 5 sectors of social protection of population has been commissioned.

            In the afternoon at Shohin street of Kulob a modern 4-star hotel and solemn sports palace have been opened and construction of an indoor swimming pool has been launched.
