The current state and prospects of friendly relations and multidimensional cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan have been considered at the tete-a-tete meeting of the heads of both states Emomali Rahmon and Asif Ali Zardari, then during the official negotiation with participation of delegations.
The head of Tajik state Emomali Rahmon expressed confidence that the development of political, economic, trade, investment, transport, energy, industrial, agricultural and security sphere relations between Tajikistan and Pakistan serves not only for the benefit of both countries, but also to the entire region, particularly Afghanistan.
The unprecedented expansion of links between state structures and entrepreneurs of both countries, which have led to the noticeable increase in volume of goods turnover, was noted with satisfaction.
The sides expressed interest in continuation of fruitful political consultations and strengthening cooperation between the military, defense and law enforcement structures of both countries in fight against terrorism, extremism and other modern challenges and threats in the world.
