Opening of a swimming pool in Kulob City
During his working trip to the city of Kulob, President of the country Emomali Rahmon attended the opening ceremony of a swimming pool for 1800 seats. The head of state cut the ribbon and put into operation the largest sports facility.
It should be recalled that President Emomali Rahmon in 2013 during one of his working trips to the cities and districts of Kulyab region launched the construction of an indoor water sports palace which lasted two years.
Under the plan, water sports palace has three floors and there will be 120 permanent jobs.
Dimensions of the main pool make up 50m to 16 m, which corresponds to international standards.
According to the plan, the property is built with all the necessary conditions by "Komil-2010" at the expense of the Communication Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Until today, the city was out like an indoor swimming pool and in the framework of constructive policy of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan it was commissioned as a modern center of health promotion.
With the construction of the indoor swimming pool athletes now have an opportunity to improve their skills year-round.
In the future, using opportunities, events will be organized at a high-level by athletes of Kulyab city who will take a more active part in national and international competitions.
