On the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon is receiving congratulatory messages from heads of state and government of foreign countries, management of international and regional organizations, financial institutions and non-governmental organizations.

The Message of greetings from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin reads, in particular:

I cordially congratulate you on the country’s national holiday, Independence Day.

Russian-Tajik relations are successfully developing in the spirit of their alliance and strategic partnership. An affirmative political dialogue has been established, as well as fruitful cooperation in trade, economy, science and technology, the humanitarian and other areas. Moscow and Dushanbe are effectively cooperating in solving the current issues on the regional and international agenda.
