President of Tajikistan also met with the Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Jabeer Mubarak Alahmad Al Sabah.

Much attention was focused on the strengthening and expansion of economic, trade and investment cooperation.

Sheikh Jabeer Mubarak Alahmad Al Sabah stated: “Your current visit to the State of Kuwait is promising and fruitful”.

At the same time, accession of Tajikistan to the World Trade Organization has been considered important for the development of such cooperation.

A constructive conversation has also been held on the ways to implement infrastructure regional projects in the areas of road-building, construction of hydropower plants, power transmission lines, facilitation to the economic and social revival and peaceful life in Afghanistan.

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon invited the Prime Minister of Kuwait Jabeer Mubarak Al Sabah to visit Dushanbe in August current year for participation in the International High-Level Conference on Water Cooperation.
