Ceremony of send-off with participation of Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah

The state visit of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has come to an end with valuable results.

The high guest was seen off at the airport of Al-Kuwait by the Emir of the State of Kuwait Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and other representatives of top leadership of the country.

The ceremony of send-off was, besides the Emir of Kuwait, also attended by the Crown Prince of the State Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Prime Minister Jaber Mubarak Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior Sheikh Ahmad Al-Hamud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence Sheikh Ahmad Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Chief Advisor of the Emir’s Cabinet Abdullah Al-Ma’tuk and other officials.

It should be reminded that 7 documents of significant importance for further expansion of cooperation between the two friendly and brotherly countries have been signed during this visit. The favorable basis of development of friendly ties and wide-ranging cooperation between Tajikistan and Kuwait together with 4 documents signed in 1995 now makes up 11 documents.

Many other arrangements have been made at different levels, including between the businessmen and entrepreneurs of the two countries, which will create more favorable basis for more beneficial cooperation.

As it was stressed, from now on, the State of Kuwait will intensify its participation in the investment of many infrastructure projects of Tajikistan, including in the areas of power energy, road-building and etc, as well as it will take efforts for the enhancement of mutually advantageous cooperation in the fields of agriculture, mining industry, light and food industries, healthcare, culture, labor migration, extraction of oil and gas, export of water and development of tourism.
