Today, President Emomali Rahmon has received a number of high-ranking participants of the International High-Level Conference on Water Cooperation.
The first bilateral meeting was held with Prime Minister of Mozambique Alberto Vaquina.
During the conversation the issues of establishment and expansion of relations between the two countries have been reviewed. It was noted that Tajikistan and Mozambique can have a more fruitful cooperation in the areas of agriculture, industry, geology, energy and education.
Prime Minister of Mozambique expressed thanks for education of students of his country in Tajikistan, and named this direction of cooperation promising.
A constructive talk was also held on interaction in the world arena, including in water, energy and environmental protection issues.
