In Minsk President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the ceremony of opening of a new building of the Embassy of Tajikistan in the Republic of Belarus and met with Tajiks and compatriots living in Belarus.
As it emerged, the new building of the Embassy is three-storied and it has all necessary working and recreation conditions for officers and reception of guests. The Embassy’s building has a big assembly hall, working bureaus, canteen, a beautiful courtyard and fruit-giving and decorative shady trees.
President of the country Emomali Rahmon during his speech congratulated the management and workers of the Embassy on the opening of the new building and expressed confidence that further results of their work in the path to the development of good relations between Tajikistan and Belarus will increase and improve.
Kind congratulations were also extended by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Anatoliy Kalinin.
President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with around 100 Tajiks and compatriots living in Belarus in the assembly hall of the new building of Embassy of Tajikistan in Belarus. As it was discovered, a part of attendees of the meeting were students, who study at different higher education institutions of Belarus. In general, currently more than 200 students from Tajikistan are studying in Belarus.
