Meeting with professors and students of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology and Tajik students

In Cyberjaya of Malaysia Head of Tajik state Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with professors and students of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology and Tajik students who study in higher education institutions of Malaysia.

As it was informed, youth from more than 160 countries around the world study in this and other universities of Malaysia due to highest quality of education.

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon first met with Rector of Limkokwing University Tansri Dr. Lim Kok Wing.

An interesting talk took place on the current and future cooperation of Tajikistan with this university. As it was mentioned, this university has 8 thousand students and 80% of them are from abroad. And around 40 Tajik students from Tajikistan study in this university. Over Tajik students study in all universities of this country.

Following the meeting a Memorandum of Understanding was signed on further expansion of cooperation between the Ministry of Education of Tajikistan and Limkokwing University, according to which branch of this university will be constructed in Tajikistan in the future.

At the beginning of meeting of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon with professors and students of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology and Tajik students Rector of this university spoke and highly commended the contribution of Emomali Rahmon in the establishment, strengthening and expansion of cooperation of Tajikistan with Malaysia, promotion of culture of peace, dialogue of civilizations and water diplomacy in the world arena.

Afterwards according to the decision of Scientific Board of Limkokwing University Emomali Rahmon was conferred with title of honorary professor of this university.
