Participation in Tajikistan-Malaysia Business Forum

In the afternoon, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon took part and spoke at the forum of authoritative entrepreneurs of Tajikistan and Malaysia.

Almost 300 people attended the Tajik-Malaysian Business Forum from both sides.

The Minister of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia Dr. Mustafa Muhammad opened the forum and gave the floor to Head of Tajik state Emomali Rahmon.

President of Tajikistan personally presented the wide opportunities of establishment and expansion  of cooperation with Tajikistan. As it was mentioned, more than 400 investment projects have been prepared and proposed only by state structures of Tajikistan which are very beneficial. Many other projects have also been proposed by numerous business and trade private structures which look forward to their investment and implementation.

During this forum also businessmen and traders of Tajikistan and Malaysia held many tete-a-tete meetings and talks and established direct ties.

Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan and Chamber of Commerce and National Industry of Malaysia was signed following the business forum.
