Meeting with the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Nikolai Bordyuzha

In the afternoon, President Emomali Rahmon received the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Nikolai Bordyuzha.

The meeting addressed the issues of cooperation within the organization.

The main attention was paid to the presidency of Tajikistan in CSTO, presidency priorities of our country and the preparations for the Summit at high and top levels of Collective Security Treaty Organization, which will be held in Dushanbe.

The course of the practical implementation of previously adopted decisions at the highest level, in particular regarding the provision of operational assistance to Tajikistan to strengthen the protection of the state border with Afghanistan and strengthen the technical capacity to deal with the threats of terrorism and extremism were also among the main topics of conversation.

Nikolai Bordyuzha informed the President of Tajikistan, the current Chairman of the Collective Security Council of CSTO Emomali Rahmon on progress, in particular, he said that the action plan of presidency of Tajikistan in CSTO is effectively implemented.

Informative talk took place on the current situation, socio-political perspectives and security in hot spots, as well as ways to prevent threats to the modern world.
